Ford Pawb Opens Its Doors on 20th July

We’re delighted to announce the launch of Ford Pawb (Everyone’s Table), our new community kitchen, with a special launch event on Monday 20th July 2026 at Fishguard Town Hall.

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, Ford Pawb has become a reality. Their support has enabled us to create a welcoming community space where everyone can enjoy good nutritious food, connect with others and access local support.

Doors open at 5.30pm, with a two-course community meal served from 6.00pm. The meal is available on a pay what you can basis, with a suggested contribution of £8 per person. Every contribution will help support the ongoing running of Ford Pawb and ensures it remains welcoming and accessible to everyone in our community.

Following the meal, we’ll share the story behind Ford Pawb and our vision for creating a welcoming space where everyone can enjoy good food and good company. Representatives from our partner organisations, including Citizens Advice, Mind and VC Gallery, will also introduce the support and services they’ll be offering as part of the project. The evening will conclude with live music from local artists.

Following the launch, Ford Pawb will be open every Monday from 9.00am to 4.00pm, serving hot drinks, homemade cakes and a light lunch in a warm, welcoming environment. Each Monday evening, we’ll also serve a freshly prepared community meal at 6.00pm. This is available on a pay what you can basis.

Ford Pawb is about much more than food. It’s a place where people can connect, make new friends and access support when they need it. Regular drop-in sessions from local organisations, including Citizens Advice, Mind and VC Gallery, will take place at Ford Pawb throughout the year, giving people easy access to information, advice and support in a welcoming community setting. Keep an eye on our social media channels for details of upcoming sessions.

We believe that food has a unique way of bringing people together. Around a shared table, conversations begin, friendships grow and communities become stronger. That’s the spirit behind Ford Pawb.

Whether you’d like to join us for our launch event, pop in for a cup of tea, enjoy lunch, come along to our evening meal or simply find out more, you’ll always receive a warm welcome.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ford Pawb from 20th July.
